  • North Herts District Council: Design and delivery of ‘commercial skills’ workshops for Officers and elected Members.
  • East Suffolk Council: Set up a trading company group, including producing full business cases for a number of service areas (roofing/scaffolding services, property investment, property development).
  • Southend Borough Council (September 2019 – present: 2 days per week):
  • Supported the formation of the Council’s in-house commercial capability, including mentoring ‘commercial champions’, facilitating ideas generation workshops and the production of business cases for confidential projects.
  • Birmingham City Council/CityServe: Commercial support for pre-procurement market engagement on digital mailroom project. 
  •  Bromsgrove and Redditch Councils Full commercial review of the Council’s Bereavement Services, including a proposal to build a second crematorium. 
  •  St Albans District Council: ‘critical friend’ I review of an internally produced business case for the re-procurement of outsourced Parking services.
  • Central Beds Council: commercial review of Albion Archaeology service to define future operating model.
  • Waveney District Council: commercial review of roofing/scaffolding service.
  • Peterborough City Council: delivering LGA “Productivity Expert’ programme for commercial initiatives including data products and Smart City initiatives.
  • Bromsgrove and Redditch Councils: delivering LGA “Productivity Expert’ programme across key strategic commercial activities.
  • Three Rivers District Council: development of a property investment strategy.
  • North Herts DC: commercial review of print service to define future sustainability.
  • Ipswich Borough Council: business case development for Grounds Maintenance, Environmental health and Home Alarms services in preparation for transfer into LATCo.
  • West Lindsey District Council: feasibility report for potential joint venture (asset management).
  • Colchester and Ipswich Borough Councils: comprehensive review of joint museums service.
  • Huntingdonshire District Council: commercial review of document management and printing service, including supporting negotiations with potential commercial partners.
  • Cornwall Council: delivering LGA “Productivity Expert’ programme for Building Control service.
  • Suffolk Coastal District Council: service review of Beach Hut provision and production of business case for further commercial development.
  • Rochford District Council: workshop delivery to officers and members to develop commercial options for proposed crematorium.
  • Hertfordshire Building Control: project support for formation of jointly owned BC company
